Naam Tamilar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman has criticised the Tamil Nadu government’s continued announcement of new schemes outside the Budget under Assembly Rule 110, calling it undemocratic. He said schemes worth about ₹73,900 crore had been announced since August 17 and asked how they would be funded, including whether the state would borrow more. He urged the government to stop making such announcements without Budget scrutiny and debate.
