No more tipping before your ride
MoRTH tells cab aggregators to drop pre-ride tip prompts; the full tip must reach the driver.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has ordered Ola, Uber, Rapido and other aggregators to drop pre-ride tipping. Prompts such as “Advance Tip” and messages that a tip brings quicker confirmation must go. Tips may appear only after the journey, and the full amount must reach the driver with no aggregator commission or processing fee.
