Government car for every MLA, ₹75,000 a month
CM Vijay announced vehicles plus a monthly allowance under Rule 110.
Chief Minister Vijay announced under Rule 110 that every MLA will get a government vehicle, plus ₹75,000 a month for driver, fuel and upkeep. VCK MLA Jothimani had said she travels 280 km to the Assembly and, on 12 August, asked for a car and assistant. The 19 August announcement follows that demand.
