₹10,000 penalty for missing ambulance deadline

NHAI’s new national-highway ambulance norms require arrival within 10 minutes of accepting a ticket for accidents within 10 km. Missing that deadline or rejecting an emergency ticket can attract a ₹10,000 penalty on the contracted operator, not the victim. Time rises for farther locations.
