Free health cover for 38 lakh people above 70
No income cap; details of the cover and how to apply will come soon.
About 38 lakh people above 70 will get free health insurance, Minister Arunraj told the Assembly. There is no income cap. Treatment will be free at government and recognised private hospitals, including cancer care, heart procedures and organ transplants. Cover amount and how to apply will be notified soon.
