Social welfare and women’s rights get a push: 500 new anganwadi buildings with water, toilets and power; ₹812 crore for ‘Annanin Seer’ (8g gold coin and silk sari for brides); Kamarajar breakfast extended to classes 6–8 for 15.14 lakh students (₹710 crore).
